EDO Wonderland Nikko Edo Village is a theme park where you can experience the culture of the Edo period. This cultural theme park recreates the old streets of the Edo period, the ninja village, the samurai residences and so on. At this theme park, you will be able to meet ninja, samurai, geisha and other interesting characters of the Edo Era.

For example, Ninja Experience, where children can master the foundational ninja skills, including Ninja Star throwing, concealment and ninja running techniques; or Samurai Swordsmen Experience, where children can learn how to be a samurai. At Edo Wonderland, there is a great variety of performances that you can’t watch anywhere else, such as the breath-taking ninja show, the hilarious comedy show and the traditional Edo Performing Arts. It consists of two areas: an indoor facility called “Town” and a vast grassland called “Farm”. The alpacas and capybaras are very popular with visitors in particular. Various performances by birds and small animals are held every day. You could spend time with your dogs at the dog-friendly areas or dog parks here. Moreover, there is a hot spring inside this zoo which you can enjoy after a long day of playing.

For the “Egypt Zone”, it has very old buildings including the Great Sphinx of Giza, Abu Simbel Temples and the Pyramid of Menkaure. After visiting this theme park, you would feel as if you have travelled around the world.
